The governance of projects is required in all types of organizations. The applicable EPG concepts have been explained in earlier chapters, and the case of partnering contracts has been addressed in detail in Chapter 10. Because industries have peculiarities, this chapter focuses on projects whose approaches differ from the conventional ones used in capital expenditure ventures: information technology (IT), research and development (R&D), and organizational change.
