I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
1. DOING SOMETHING YOU ARE PASSIONATE ABOUT
Knowing your passion is very important for several reasons.
First, you need passion because you need to keep yourself engaged in the projects you are creating.
We live in the age of opportunity. It’s not fair on your brain to give it so many things to choose from. Just 60 years ago, people hardly had any choices to make by comparison.
Your parents or grandparents had a peer-group of maybe 50–100 people. There were just a few restaurants in town. There were a few movies that came out each year. There were only two brands of most products to choose from, eight radio stations to listen to, four TV channels to watch, five newspapers to read.
