Abstract
This chapter details the modern business ecosystem from author's perspective. It also offers some suggestions for the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries on how to develop their business ecosystem. The next part details the process of business start-up in Sultanate of Oman, which is very similar to the other GCC countries and explains the legal forms of incorporation. In another section, financing sources are discussed for start-up entrepreneurs, as well as investment opportunities in UAE, Qatar, and Sultanate of Oman.
