The performance of entrepreneurial firms

Abstract

Entrepreneurs, when starting a process and experiencing a journey, are expected to be interested in the trajectory to be addressed. In the present volume, entrepreneurship trajectories stand for the path that drives entrepreneurs from identifying an entrepreneurial opportunity to achieving an expected performance.

In order to describe the trajectories drawn by entrepreneurs, a reverse approach is adopted hereinafter, which begins with the performance to be achieved and ends with the entrepreneurial opportunities to be identified. Thus, in this chapter, attention is paid to the performance that entrepreneurs can achieve through their firms.
