Abstract
After formalizing and cataloguing entrepreneurship trajectories (as flat, incremental, or adventurous) it is interesting to investigate if entrepreneurs—consciously or even unconsciously—draw and follow them when launching and managing their start-ups.
In order to achieve this task, a proper research method has been selected first. Attention has been addressed toward qualitative methods and, in particular, toward longitudinal case studies that have been rebuilt accurately.
Three start-ups have been identified: Lascò ltd, a firm offering innovative services for other companies; Ludus Magnus Studio llc working in the hobby/game industry; and Xonda Derm ltd that is operative in the pharmaceutical industry.
