Abstract
This chapter presents some generalized conclusions about the future of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) investing: the case for ESG investing having comparable financial performance appears to be empirically well founded. The investing public will increasingly be interested in understanding the ESG characteristics of its investments. More companies will provide corporate responsibility reports and the quality and depth of that reporting will improve.
