Breadboard
The breadboard view shows just how confusing a circuit can get in reality.
You could make the entire project fit on one large breadboard, but that’ll be one cramped board! I suggest making the LED line on a separate board.
Connect the negative connection of the battery to the GND bus on the breadboard. Place the slider switch on the breadboard and connect the positive connection of the battery to the middle pin.
