Project: Generating Web Pages from a Database
The scripts in this chapter use a simple database that stores three kinds of information: people, Web sites, and events.
Each type of information is stored in a different category, which can be selected from a menu that is presented in Figure 3-1.

Because the data stored in each category is different, it needs to be presented in a different manner.
For events, by default, the script displays the name of the event, the principal date with which the event is associated, a description of the event, as well as a start and end date. Events are ...
