A rulebase is a representation of a policy that determines who can do what and when. In SmartDashboard/Policy Editor, several elements make up this policy: objects, rules, topology, and the global properties. This section covers the creation and composition of these components.
You can create several types of objects in FireWall-1. The important ones for constructing an initial policy are covered here; others are covered elsewhere in the book.
