Creating this appendix was a good test of this book! You’ll find that almost all of the answers refer to sections in the book, and that the ones that don’t are still answered in the book, they’re just really short answers.
These questions are taken from the info-cvs@nongnu.org mailing list, from the start of 2004 through the time of writing (August 2006), and were all asked at least twice. Some questions from early in that period haven’t been answered here, because CVS has since changed.

Creating Projects and Sandboxes
The very first step to successfully using a tool such as CVS is putting your files in it. So the questions about that are answered first.
