15Environment Modeling: The Stone Surround for the Door of Secrets
About the Workflow
In Chapter 13 we sculpted a door for the main scene using a variety of hard surface sculpting techniques that demonstrated how easy this can be. In this chapter I want to do the same with an example of environment modeling for the stone surround of the door. For this we are going to use a very basic base mesh that again I made in about five minutes in Silo. It’s not going to challenge anyone but the newest of polygon modelers, but if you like you can get the base mesh from the book’s companion DVD.
