So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

In this text, we have discussed most of the main topics of software engineering. It has been our intent to provide a broad introduction to the subject and yet to be concise enough to allow the material to be covered within a semester time frame of fifteen to sixteen weeks. Although many “favorite” topics in software engineering may not be included, readers will be directed to the References and Suggested Readings section at the end of each chapter.
