6.1 What are legal and other requirements?
Legal requirements are mandated by national, regional or international laws, statutes and regulations. They could also be in the form of orders issued by the regulators, such as the need for approvals, authorisations, permits, licences or permissions for equipment, tasks or processes. These could also be collective bargaining agreements that must be complied with by an organisation.
