CHAPTER 13: PROCUREMENT

13.1 General (ISO 45001, Clause 8.1.4.1)

The Standard requires an organisation to control the procurement of products and services to ensure that incoming materials meet the defined OH&S requirements. This is required to be done by establishing, implementing and maintaining processes/procedures that stipulate how these controls shall be exercised. The purpose of these processes is to ensure that products, services, equipment or raw materials with harmful OH&S impacts are not inducted into a workplace.
