Abuse:

Incidents or practices of physicians or suppliers of equipment that, although not usually considered fraudulent, are inconsistent with accepted sound medical, business, or fiscal practices.

Accountable Care Organization (ACO):

Consists of hospitals, primary care physicians, specialists, community agencies, social service agencies, schools, and other local agencies that work together and agree to share accountability for the quality and cost of patient care.

Adoptee:
