Ethics in AI-based online assessment in higher education

Abstract

This chapter explores different viewpoints on the ethical implications of using AI-enhanced online assessment in educational practice and guides how to implement these types of systems morally. Through morally shaped algorithms, systems should be allowed to regulate processes and analyses along ethical principles, and in every step of the implementation process, ethical standards need to be considered beforehand.
