In this chapter, you work with some of the most exciting file types: recordings and images. Saving memories of more important stuff, like visuals and vocals, is how you’ll get really attached to Evernote (if you aren’t already). Capturing events and conversations for later review and reminiscing has never been this easy.

Answering machines and camcorders got most people over the novelty of recording themselves. But everything was segregated to different devices or files, which meant that locating the right recording was as difficult as locating your tax return from five years ago. Now, Evernote has made it possible for you to centralize all your recordings and images, which is especially important when it comes to meetings or family vacations. Evernote is also awesome for working with files like PDFs and other images containing text because it’s capable of “reading” them and then making them searchable.
