Setting Your Recruiters Up for Success

LOOK UNDER THE HOOD

A number of hiring managers have expressed their frustration to me over the fact that their internal recruiting process or their external recruiters have not yielded enough quality candidates. In trying to be helpful, I often ask them about such key search levers as:

   What types of profiles are your recruiters targeting?

   What job boards have you tried posting this role to?

   How many candidates have your recruiters actively reached out to on their own?

   How much of your recruiters’ time is dedicated to this search versus other searches on their plate?

To these questions, I typically receive a wide range of answers:
