Chapter 14. Mathematics and Trigonometry Functions

Excel provides a variety of mathematical and trigonometrical functions. These functions let you perform most of those calculations you had to figure out by hand in high school trig and calculus classes. And if you are like me, you haven’t had to do these types of equations since then. Excel makes it easy for the math-challenged by running these calculations. (Of course, now most students are allowed to execute these calculations on calculators or computers.) The following functions are covered in detail in this chapter. The “AT” represents those functions that exist only by loading the Analysis Toolpak. See Chapter 11 for details.
