Overview of Outlook Web Access
Outlook Web Access is an alternative Exchange client, similar to Outlook in its purpose—to provide the user with an interface into the storage and transport functionality of Exchange Server. Not everyone has access to a full desktop at all times, but the availability of the Web and a Web browser is almost universal among workers. Its interface has a similar look and feel to the regular Outlook application (see Figure 10.1), but is somewhat limited in appearance and interactivity by its Web nature. In addition, the Web interface does not support the full feature set of its rich client relative, although it does support the most common and most needed features.
