Basics of Building a Dashboard
Now that we have covered the concept and purpose of a dashboard, it is time to learn how to build one. This dashboard starts off as a single page, with very basic functionality to illustrate the techniques involved. This sample dashboard shows you how to make nuggets, use the COM add-ins provided by the Digital Dashboard Starter Kit, and how to use some Dynamic HTML to implement the show/hide functionality of the sample dashboards (see Figure 12.6).
