This chapter focuses on the creation and deletion of the recovery database as well as the restoration of a database using the RDB. Because there are no storage groups in Exchange Server 2010, the Recovery Storage Group (RSG) has been deprecated. The functionality of the RSG has been moved to a new feature in Exchange 2010 called the Recovery Database.
