As the new head of security, you may have never had to hire someone for a position. Sure, you can look at LinkedIn or Indeed to help write a position description (PD), but how do you know whether the job description is right for the candidate you want to hire? We may try and shoot for the moon, asking for years of experience for first-time job hunters or looking for someone with 15 years of Kubernetes experience. Fun fact – Kubernetes has not been around that long as of the time of writing.
