Often, important insights and action items from productive meetings don’t get implemented, not because there was a lack of alignment or enthusiasm, but because no one bothered to write them down. Most meetings, in my personal experience, are quite productive, but whether or not they are effective is a function of how organized we were in capturing the notes of the meeting.
