To deploy and monitor the application from AWS Management Console

In this section, we will follow these steps to deploy and monitor the application:

  1. Log in to AWS Management Console and select the AWS CodeDeploy service.
  2. It will display the Get Started Now button for a first time user. If any applications have already been created, then you will see the list of applications. Click on the Create Application button.
  3. You will see the following screen. Type the value for the application name and deployment group name. The compute platform has two options: EC2/On-premises and AWS Lambda. The In-place deployment option has been selected as the deployment type for this demo application:
