In this chapter, we’ll take a look at the various sections and requirements of ISO9001, in depth, including some of the more common myths associated with each requirement encountered. It is recommended that a copy of the ISO9000 standards are obtained since the full requirements are not contained in these texts.
In addition, practical guidance is given – often through concrete or everyday examples – of what each requirement means, based on several years’ hands-on experience of designing, documenting, implementing, and auditing a few hundred management systems.
