The skateboarding photographer Allen Ying utilized a fast f/2 lens to capture this urban activity that, according to Ying, “embodies a spirit of conflict, imagination, and triumph, encourages the questioning of authority, and the exploration of free alternative thinking.” He made this image around midnight, in near darkness, on the roof of a building.
