Garth Amundson and Pierre Gour challenge traditional conventions of the photograph as a two-dimensional object. They explain, “The installation HEAD(S) is a by-product of our previous works, Cut-It-Out and Penetrating Cuts, in which we scanned thousands of vintage and contemporary photographs and snapshots.
