Summary

I hope that this chapter did not leave stones unturned in the matter of plain vanilla pattern matching. You should now be well prepared to overcome typical pattern matching challenges that F# beginner programmers experience. I remind you that further pattern matching features, namely data decomposition and active patterns, will be covered in later chapters in order to preserve the logical flow of the material.

In the next chapter, I will turn to the exciting subject of Algebraic Data Types. We will explore how data may be composed too and what are the benefits behind the data composition.
