SUMMARY
As of Windows 95, you have many ActiveX controls that can enhance the power of development languages such as Access. ActiveX controls—like standard Access controls—have properties, methods, and events. After you learn how to program by using one or two of the controls, you can pick up the other controls fairly quickly.
Chapter 14, “Programming for Power with ActiveX Controls,” covers additional ActiveX controls available.
Chapter 26, “Startup Checking System Routines Using DAO,” uses the Common Dialog control for real-world application.
