CONVERTING A DATABASE TO A REPLICA

Calling the MakeReplicable method on a database automatically converts the database to a replicable format. A new feature in Access 2000 is the ability to track data changes at the column (cell) level as well as the row (record) level. A column is the most basic unit of information recognized in replication when the ColumnLevelTracking, sometimes referred to as CLT, is set on a table. The ColumnLevelTracking property is a custom property, which exists both on the database and on each individual table.
