One of the fun things about writing Facebook For Dummies is the process of going back over text that was written in the past and updating it based on whatever has happened in our lives. When Carolyn wrote the first edition, she was just out of college and almost every example related to Ultimate Frisbee, whether she was posting photos (of a Frisbee game) or planning an event (like a Frisbee match). By the second edition, she’d been working a little bit longer and used examples related to some fun travels. The third edition was all about her wedding, the fourth about her time in grad school, the fifth about her new baby, the sixth about her second baby, the seventh about her two toddlers, and for this edition, well, it turns out she’s into her indoor plants (in addition to her children) right now. Your life can change a lot over the course of several years.
