Facebook Platform is what Facebook uses to take your collection of information and (with your consent) make it available to other websites, game manufacturers, and app developers. What this means in practical, concrete terms is that you can choose to use your Facebook information to, for example, log in to a website such as Pinterest and share your pins with Facebook friends.
