As you know, Facebook is a great place to connect with family members and old friends. It’s also a good place to connect with current and former coworkers, as well as others in your industry or profession. For that matter, many people use Facebook to help them look for new jobs; with all those “friends” you have on the Facebook site, at least one of them must know somebody somewhere who can help you get an in for a new position.
How, then, do you use Facebook on a more business-oriented basis? It’s a matter of taking advantage of the appropriate Facebook features and of acting a bit more professional online.
