8. Photos and Videos
Photos are a huge part of life on Facebook. With more than 700 million photos uploaded each month, Facebook is the Web’s largest photo-sharing site—bigger than Flickr or Photobucket.
Uploading your photos to Facebook does more than just give you a place to put them. Photos posted on Facebook get attention, because sharing photos on Facebook is an active process. Facebook’s News Feeds ensure that when you post photos on Facebook, other people will know about it and check them out.
Facebook is also an ideal place to host and share original videos, which benefit the same way photos do from Facebook’s News Feeds.
