Abstract

This study investigates the interplay between business model innovation and internal family succession within family businesses. Through qualitative research involving interviews with 14 experts from German-speaking countries, the study explores how these two processes can be effectively integrated. The St. Gallen Business Model Navigator serves as the foundational model for structuring the succession process.
