Chapter 10. Configuring Relay
The configuration of modem, fax, and text relay is more involved than the passthrough configurations discussed in Chapter 9, “Configuring Passthrough.” More configuration options and additional parameters can be modified. In the case of Cisco IOS gateways, this in turn leads to a larger number of command-line interface (CLI) commands to manage.
The relay configuration options for the voice signaling protocols of H.323, Session Initiation Protocol (SIP), Skinny Client Control Protocol (SCCP), and Media Gateway Control Protocol (MGCP) are discussed in this chapter.
