Chapter 11. Configuring T.37 Store-and-Forward Fax
Recommendation T.37 store-and-forward fax allows for the transport of fax information using e-mail. This replaces the real-time nature of the fax transaction with the convenience of sending and receiving faxes directly from your favorite e-mail application.
Only Cisco IOS gateways support T.37. Non-IOS gateways such as the 6608, VG224, and ATA, which were discussed previously in the passthrough and relay configuration chapters, are not discussed here because of their lack of support for the T.37 specification.
