A Brief History of Fiber Optics

 

The principles guiding fiber optic transmission, be it video, audio, or data signals, occurred in the same time period as the development of radio transmission. As with the parallel technological advancements in radio transmission and television transmission, fiber optic transmission learned much from basic electronic transmission.
