INTEGRATING IS THE THIRD AND FINAL STEP in the Military Transition Framework™. It is the destination of the military transition journey. You will know former service members have completed detaching and regrouping and entered integrating when you see them working with the flow (rather than against the flow), smoothly adapting to new ways of doing things. This is most evident when a new service member joins the organization and you think to yourself, “Oh, yes, I remember so-and-so making that mistake when he was new. He would never do that now.”
