Searching for Files
Even if you’re fairly conscientious about how you store and organize your files, there will often be times when you need a particular document, picture, and so on, and you aren’t quite sure exactly where to find it.
To help you find your file, Windows’ built-in search feature makes it easy to do a quick search of all of the locations on a PC where a user’s personal data is typically stored. You can also use File Explorer to perform a more targeted search of specific folders and/or search based on various file attributes such as the kind of file, its size, or when it was last modified.
