Chapter 15. FileMaker Go Specifications
FileMaker Go 12 and FileMaker Go 12 for iPad are part of the FileMaker 12 family and are compatible only with fmp12 files. Using FileMaker Pro 12, you must convert databases created by earlier versions of FileMaker Pro before you can access them with FileMaker Go 12. Likewise, FileMaker Go 12 can access networked files hosted only by FileMaker Pro 12, FileMaker Pro 12 Advanced, FileMaker Server 12, or FileMaker Server 12 Advanced.
Note that previous iterations of FileMaker Go were versioned 1.2.4. FileMaker has elected to designate the latest incarnation of FileMaker Go version 12, skipping ahead to align with the remainder of the product line.
