Chapter 17. FileMaker XML Reference
XML is one of the driving technologies behind Custom Web Publishing (CWP) in FileMaker. FileMaker Server can serve FileMaker data as XML for use by external applications that can read XML data.
Note
Although previous versions of FileMaker Server allowed the use of server-side XSL stylesheets, this capability is no longer present in FileMaker Server 12. However, it’s still possible to use XSLT to transform XML exports on the FileMaker Pro and Pro Advanced clients.
