FileMaker Deployment Options
One of the strengths of FileMaker is that a solution can be deployed in various ways. It can be used by a single user running FileMaker Pro 10 or FileMaker Pro 10 Advanced, it can be shared with peer-to-peer networking, it can run on FileMaker Server 10, or with FileMaker Server 10 Advanced it can be published to the Web. This chapter explores runtime solutions, kiosk solutions, and plug-ins—additional ways to deploy FileMaker databases.
