John Lithgow on Acting

 

 

 

John Lithgow has had a distinguished acting career in theater, film, and now television. He was nominated for an Oscar for his role in The World According to Garp and won an Emmy for his performance in the “Amazing Stories” series. Mr. Lithgow received another Emmy for the hit series “3rd Rock from the Sun.” Mr. Lithgow was graduated from Harvard University in 1967 and was a recipient of a Fulbright scholarship. This interview was conducted in Mr. Lithgow’s dressing room in Studio City, California, January 22, 1997.
