Born in 1959, two-time Academy Award winner John Myhre has been a film devotee from a very early age—he remembers his mother buying him a Super-8 camera when he was around seven years old, and he has watched the Academy Awards every year since he was five (he went onto production design the ceremony itself in 2012).
