THIS chapter1 introduces a library called Animated Transitions. This library works in conjunction with the Timing Framework library, described earlier. Like the Timing Framework library, the Animated Transitions library is available on the book’s Web site. This chapter details the motivations for the Animated Transitions library as well as how to use the API. We discuss example applications that show what the library can do.
