Installing Final Cut Express HD
Welcome to Final Cut Express HD version 3.5, the newest version of Apple’s video editing software for DV and HDV users. This version of the application is based on its older cousin Final Cut Pro 5.1 and has been fully rewritten to be Universal Binary. That means it will run on either older PowerPC Macs or Apple’s new Intel-based computers. So if you are using one of Apple’s Intel computers, a new iMac, MacBook, or Mac-Book Pro, this is the version of the application you need to be running. This new version brings quite a few changes and even more complexity to the application, together with more real-time capabilities.
