Editing Basics: Building Your Sequence
Now that you’ve cut up your material in Final Cut Express, we’re ready to begin putting it all together. There is no right way to edit a scene or a sequence or even a whole film or video; there are only bad ways, good ways, and better ways.
Loading the Lesson
Let’s begin by opening the Projects folder on your hard drive and double-clicking the project file, Lesson 5, to launch the application.
As in Lesson 2, before the project finishes loading, you may be greeted with the Reconnect dialog box. Follow the steps in the previous lessons to reconnect:
