Taking charge of your spending and saving habits will get you into good financial health and help you be ready should any issue or unforeseen problem arise that could otherwise take you off track. You are in the driver’s seat, you have the power to keep your financials on the secure path, and I can help show the way.
When the going gets tough, you should pay extra close attention to your cash flow and spending, especially if you weren’t well on top of it during good times. While you can’t change the past, there are plenty of actions you can take to improve the difference between your income and outgo.
Please keep in mind throughout this chapter that I am presenting you with suggestions to consider. Some will not float your boat; others may be acceptable and dare I say even welcomed!
